How far in advance can I schedule my picnic?

You can schedule a picnic as far in advance as you would like.

How do the payments work?

Once you have selected your package, add-on, and date/time, clients will then need to fill out a final details form before submitting their payment. At this time clients have the option to submit a 50% down payment or pay for the full booking cost. In order to secure a booking with LP a 50% nonrefundable down payment must be submitted during your initial submission. The remaining balance must be paid in full 5 days prior to your scheduled picnic.

What payment options do you offer?

Luxury Picnics only offers transactions with the use of Debit or Credit cards on our site. LP will not accept any other form of payment in exchange for a booking.

When is the earliest I can schedule a picnic?

Appointments must be submitted at least 5 days from the moment you are looking to book.

Can I book a picnic earlier than your 5-day grace period?

Yes, it is possible to book a rushed picnic if there is availability to do so. The earliest LP can host a picnic is two days from the moment we are notified and available. All rushed picnics will be charged a $40 rush fee on top of the package and add-ons selected. If you wish to book a Rush Picnic please email LP at OfficialLuxuryPicnics@gmail.com and title your subject “Rushed Picnic” in order to receive a response promptly.

Can I make changes to my picnic after booking

Changes to bookings must be made aware 5 days prior to the scheduled picnic. Any reduction in booking add-ons, guest count, or package reductions can not be fulfilled after 5 days and a refund cannot be given.

Can I leave my picnic unattended?

We ask that all picnic guests reframe from leaving Luxury Picnic set-ups unattended to prevent any theft or damages caused by another 3rd party entity. Guests are fully responsible for all picnic equipment throughout their scheduled booking.

Can I leave my picnic early?

If you wish to leave your scheduled picnic time earlier than scheduled please contact LP prior to your expected departure so our staff may return to clean up as soon as possible. During this time we ask that guests wait until an LP staff member arrives prior to guests deciding to make their final departure.

How can I book a picnic for more than 6 guests?

Bookings for over 6 guests must contact LP directly using our Specialized Event Form. Customers will receive a response within 48 business hours from the moment your inquiry is submitted.

ALL picnic bookings larger than 6 guests need to contact LP at least 10 days prior to their intended picnic date. In doing so LP will be able to confirm availability, provide a custom booking, and begin curating the most luxurious picnic for your special occasion. Bookings for picnics larger than 6 guests must confirm and submit their deposit at least 7 days before the intended event date. The remaining payment must be submitted 5 days prior to your picnic booking

Can I bring my own food?

Yes, of course, you can!

Does LP provide any alcoholic beverages?

Legally parks do not allow alcohol. Therefore LP will not supply any alcoholic beverages with a picnic unless it is on private property (e.g. personal business or home). However, LP also cannot stop our guests from bringing their own personal food and drinks to any of set ups scheduled. Luxury Picnics is not responsible for and damages or injuries caused by the consumption of alcohol.

Do you provide any food or drinks?

Depending on your package a bottle of water or a bottle of nonalcoholic sparkling juice will be provided, if not both. At the moment we are partnered with Brie and Bartlett which is the best charcuterie business located in Indianapolis. All of Brie and Bartlett’s charcuterie boxes are made fresh each day, they offer a wide range of quality cheeses, fresh fruits, fine meats, and more.

Do I need to clean up?

No, please don’t! All we ask is that you show up, relax, and enjoy the moment. Leave the rest up to us at the end of your picnic.

Where do you guys host picnics at?

We can host your picnic anywhere within a 17-mile radius of the central Indiana area (any travel outside of our service range will require an additional $25 fee). LP can host your picnic at a public park, in your backyard, inside your home, at a personal business, and more.

What happens if the weather is bad on my scheduled picnic appointment?

We know that weather can be very unpredictable however Luxury Picnics cannot control any weather issues that may arise. Always be prepared to plan according to any weather issues such as humidity, rainfall, stong winds, or any cold and hot temperatures. If it so happens that on the day of your scheduled picnic, the weather has become unsuitable for the event then it will be canceled. We always encourage customers to reschedule if weather issues do affect their original picnic date we will credit your picnic and allow you to reschedule within the next 6 months. If you wish to proceed with a cancellation then a full refund will be processed towards your second payment only since the initial 50% down payment is non-refundable. If you do so happen to really want your picnic to still go on disregarding the weather’s impact, we do offer indoor setups as well. At this time LP does not have any indoor locations to offer, so any indoor picnic locations must be provided by the client. So please be mindful and prepared for any possible weather interference.

What if I need to reschedule?

If you wish to reschedule your picnic, you are more than welcome to do so freely as long as it happens 5 days prior to your scheduled appointment. By doing so your date and time change will be free. However, if you are wanting to reschedule after the given grace period you will be charged an additional $20 booking fee.

What is the cancellation policy?

All initial 50% down payments are non-refundable. We understand that things may happen in life that influences your need to cancel If this is the case you are free to cancel your picnic any time prior to our 5-day cancellation grace period in order to receive a full refund from your second payment. If at the moment you need to cancel falls behind our given 5-day grace period then clients will be charged a $55 cancellation fee. This charge will go towards the second payment that was submitted for your booking. The remaining balance will be refunded and can take 3-7 business days to show back in your bank account.
